Readers and Youth are forever soul mates

Journalist Le Xuan Trung, deputy editor-in-chief of Tuoi Tre newspaper, said: "Many readers say that Tuoi Tre has changed their lives, like Mr. Manh Huy here. Or Mr. Hoang An said that Tuoi Tre was reborn, giving him a new life.

The Youth Imprint Contest in Me is meaningful because in Tuoi Tre there are readers and in readers there is Tuoi Tre. It is the stories of readers, the imprints of readers that breathe life into the newspaper pages, enhancing the value and meaning of Tuoi Tre newspaper.

Tuoi Tre has built its brand in the journalism world thanks to the affection of its readers. At any given time, we always think we need to show our gratitude to our readers.

50 years, the imprint of Tuoi Tre in readers as well as the imprint of readers in Tuoi Tre will be preserved forever, always a close bond throughout the past journey".

Tuoi Tre and CC1 have a strong belief in the development of society and community, without showing off in each project. CC1 has created hydroelectric and thermal power plants, transport infrastructure, schools, hospitals... across the country.

Accompanying this contest, we want to spread a message: each person leaves their own mark, even with something small, as long as we bring it with all our hearts, for a more beautiful and humane community."

In a conversation with the three authors who won the highest prize, journalist Cat Khue recounted the emotional feeling when receiving a photo sent by a reader, taken from the Tuoi Tre Spring newspaper in 1976, 49 years ago when the newspaper had just been published for a year.

Tuoi Tre readers always keep surprises, making all members of the newspaper emotional.

Mr. Dang Hoang An is the author who won first prize in the contest with the article Tuoi Tre lifts me up, so I can continue walking. " Tuoi Tre pulls me out of the dark days" - he shared. Inspired by the article "Nghin ngay cuu con" on Tuoi Tre Online , he was able to shine after a series of days of depression due to being in a wheelchair, putting aside his youthful dreams.

Touched by the mother's determination in that article, Dang Hoang An thought of his own mother. He determined to live a meaningful life and participate in many social activities, inspiring the disabled and those in difficult circumstances.

Tuoi Tre always stands on the side of the disadvantaged, speaking up for the disadvantaged in society. A typical case is Mr. Nguyen Manh Huy, who was denied the opportunity to attend university three times. What he found in Tuoi Tre newspaper was "the humanity and courage in fighting for social justice, not only for myself but also for many other readers".

Currently, Tuoi Tre newspaper is continuing this activity with the program "Tiep suc den truong" (Helping disadvantaged students to go to school) , aiming to support disadvantaged students to have the opportunity to go to school and study at university to move towards a brighter future.

Journalist Le Xuan Trung talks about the newspaper's philosophy: "Society requires journalists to do such things to be worthy of being journalists. That is what generations of Tuoi Tre have passed on to each other.

Instead of professional experiences, we share with each other the stories of our readers. The stories of Mr. Nguyen Manh Huy, Ms. Lam Minh Trang, Dang Hoang An... are all included in the journalism curriculum to train the next generation of Tuoi Tre .

Author Lam Minh Trang surprised the contest with her frank and fierce tone in the article Tuoi Tre helps society become more orderly and better . As a teacher, she shared that she used to live a negative life, shrinking into the collective. But due to concerns about education , she wrote a "resignation letter to students" and sent it to Tuoi Tre newspaper.

"I turned myself into a broken piece of chalk, not a wet piece of chalk" - she wrote in that "letter". After that, journalist Luu Dinh Trieu of Tuoi Tre came to Thu Duc to interview her, making her a character on Tuoi Tre 's education page a week later. Tuoi Tre published all her frustrations about her job and society.

"Readers really, really need Tuoi Tre. And Tuoi Tre needs readers, of course, because journalists look to us. Tuoi Tre has given readers a place to anchor their faith in society," said Lam Minh Trang. She has contributed more than 200 articles to Tuoi Tre . Trang's parents said that when she retires, they want to thank two places: the school she attended and Tuoi Tre newspaper.

"When I became a character of Tuoi Tre newspaper, I did not dare to live a bad life. I did not dare to be more wrong to my students, did not dare to commit unforgivable moral mistakes" - she confided.
