Comrade Hang A Thao - Director of the District Agricultural Development Support and Service Center said: "To improve the efficiency of agricultural production, the Center has implemented many synchronous activities, in which training, propaganda, and direct guidance for farmers are considered key solutions. In the first quarter of 2025 alone, the unit organized more than 60 propaganda sessions and technical training for more than 2,500 people on hunger and cold prevention for livestock, techniques for sowing and caring for spring rice, planting spring-summer corn, and caring for upland taro. In addition, the Center focuses on monitoring the growth and development of crops and livestock to guide farmers on how to prevent and control pests and diseases in a timely manner, minimizing damage."

Information and propaganda work has also been promoted by the unit in coordination with mass media such as radio, television, and print newspapers with 3 to 4 articles per crop season. Therefore, many households have promptly grasped production information as well as new scientific and technical advances. Along with promoting information and propaganda, helping farmers access new crop varieties and advanced farming techniques, the Center has built many demonstration models in the area. Since the beginning of the year, the unit has deployed 3 demonstration models of 3-line hybrid rice varieties Nhi Huong 555, pure rice NTS01, 3-line hybrid rice Thuy Huong 308 with a total area of ​​2 hectares in 3 communes of Tram Tau, Hat Luu, Xa Ho.

Currently, the rice models are in the rooting - green recovery - tillering stage. People participating in the model are all given detailed instructions on how to sow, care for, and prevent pests and diseases. In addition to supporting planting, the Center also focuses on disease prevention in livestock and poultry with specific measures such as: monitoring and controlling diseases, especially lumpy skin disease and African swine fever; providing guidance on planting and grass care techniques to ensure animal feed sources; implementing foot-and-mouth disease vaccination for buffaloes and cows, spraying disinfectants, etc. Thanks to the Center's initiative, the disease situation in the district has been effectively controlled, significantly limiting damage to livestock farmers.

Mr. Giang A Hang in Km14+17 village, Tram Tau commune said: "Previously, my family's farming was mainly based on traditional experience, with low productivity and very unstable. After attending training courses, propaganda sessions and participating in the demonstration model of new rice varieties organized by the District Agricultural Development Support and Service Center, my family successfully applied new techniques to production. I was instructed on how to care for rice at each growth stage, how to detect pests early, and timely treatment measures. My family's rice yield has increased significantly, and the quality of the rice has also improved. Not only rice, I also received support in livestock farming and grass growing techniques, so my family's buffalo and cows always grow healthily and do not lack food in winter. Thanks to that, the family's economy has gradually stabilized and prospered, with money to cover living expenses and save capital to continue expanding production in the future."

The Center will continue to implement solutions to promote agricultural production, focusing on expanding demonstration models with high-yield and high-quality crop and livestock varieties along with strengthening supervision and technical support for farmers during the production process; focusing on promoting the application of digital technology to help farmers easily access new information and techniques; improving the quality of disease control and ensuring safety for agricultural production.
