Touched by the solemn welcome of the leaders of the City People's Committee, the leaders of the Department of Education and Training, the school and his family, Nguyen Le Quoc Bao said he was very happy to have achieved such good results after so much effort. He was very proud to be able to affirm the intelligence of Vietnamese people in this competition.
"The second prize makes me a bit regretful and I would like to leave it to the next generation of students to continue writing the dream of winning the first prize of this contest to help us," Quoc Bao said.
Sharing the same sentiment, Le Tuan Hy felt moved when teachers and many leaders came to the airport to welcome him. "I want to thank the teachers and everyone who encouraged and stood by us so we could have this achievement," Tuan Hy said.
Two students printed and designed posters and banners for the delegation in the US.
Speaking at the reception, Mr. Ho Tan Minh - Chief of Office of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City, a member of the delegation leading Ho Chi Minh City to participate in this year's ISEF competition - said that the days in the US were the days when the two winning students demonstrated their abilities in the competition.
Because what was prepared in Vietnam such as posters and banners could not be used there, the students had to print them themselves in the distant United States, design them themselves and manage to get the best results. Mr. Minh was very proud of the students who were both talented and flexible and handled real-life situations very well.
