General rehearsal of the opening ceremony of the Red River Convergence mass art performance

The opening ceremony of the festival will take place at 8:00 p.m. on November 14, 2024, including special performances by artists and actors from Thai Binh Cheo Theater. Immediately after the opening ceremony, there will be a performance of the Cheo play “The Sacred Letter” composed and staged by the Thai Binh Provincial Mass Art Troupe.

The Red River Convergence Festival is an important cultural activity of the Red River Delta region, an opportunity for artists, actors, and non-professional musicians representing the provinces of the Red River Delta to meet, exchange experiences and creativity in artistic work. Through the festival, it contributes to introducing and promoting traditional art forms and unique cultural features of localities in the Red River Delta region.

At the opening ceremony rehearsal, leaders of the Department of Grassroots Culture (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) contributed ideas on the staging and stage layout to bring the most impressive artistic experience to the audience cheering on the performance.
