Tuyen Quang enters a new stage of development

At the beginning of the working session, General Secretary To Lam emphasized: The two old provinces of Ha Giang and Tuyen Quang merged into the new Tuyen Quang province with many new development opportunities. The tasks ahead are very heavy, requiring cadres and party members to uphold the spirit of exemplary conduct and responsibility in taking the lead in movements to carry out political tasks and develop the local socio-economic situation. In the immediate future, priority will be given to promoting administrative reform, upholding the spirit of serving the people; doing a good job of propaganda and mobilizing people to clear the land, speeding up the construction progress of key projects. The Provincial Party Executive Committee has issued Working Regulations and directed 128 Party committees and subordinate Party organizations develop and promulgate working regulations of their level, and establish 22 The working delegation, led by members of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, worked with 124 communes and wards. The Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee has led and directed the organization of Party Congresses at all levels and the Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term to ensure progress and plan. Up to now, 100% of branches and affiliated Party Committees have completed the Congress. Continue to mobilize people to participate in campaigns and movements such as eliminating temporary houses, dilapidated houses, Tuyen Quang joins hands to treat waste and fight plastic waste, build new rural areas, civilized urban areas... Proposing the Central Government to issue specific mechanisms and policies for border provinces to more effectively implement the work of protecting and developing sustainable forests. Proposing to establish a project to build, renovate and embellish revolutionary historical relics in the Tan Trao Special National Relic Site, ensuring synchronization and unity to demonstrate the significance of the relics and historical values. Concluding the meeting, General Secretary To Lam highly appreciated the achievements that the Party Committee and people of all ethnic groups in Tuyen Quang have achieved in recent times. The economy has developed and grown significantly, increasing 1.6 times compared to 2020; the poverty rate has decreased by an average of 5.87% per year; the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses has mobilized contributions from the whole society, creating a vibrant emulation movement among the people. The national defense posture associated with the people's security posture has been ensured to be stable.

Regarding the key tasks of Tuyen Quang in the coming time, General Secretary To Lam requested: The Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee must strengthen the building of a creative and developing political system, lead the successful organization of the Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term, opening a new development period for the province's socio-administrative space. This is an extremely important task to open a new development period for the province after the merger. The preparation process must be truly serious, methodical, synchronous and strict. The documents of the Provincial Party Congress must crystallize new thinking, new vision, new development aspirations; truly a qualitative shift in development thinking, governance model and institutions. The General Secretary requested that the province must exploit its potential and advantages to the fullest, mobilize all resources to promote and develop the economy quickly and sustainably. It is necessary to rebuild the overall socio-economic development strategy for Tuyen Quang in a systematic, scientific, long-term vision, promote the value between regions and determine the new position of the province on the national development map. On the basis of effectively exploiting cultural values, revolutionary historical relics, intangible cultural products, scenic spots, and majestic landscapes of the locality to build unique, professional, highly competitive tourism products, prioritizing infrastructure development in potential areas such as Dong Van Karst Plateau Global Geopark, Tan Trao Special National Relic Site, etc.
