The art program "The Country is Full of Joy" is part of a series of events and activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

The program is directed by the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense; the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army directs the content and art; the Propaganda Department organizes the implementation; and Military Region 7 presides over and coordinates the implementation.

Attending the program were comrades: General Secretary To Lam, Secretary of the Central Military Commission; former President Nguyen Minh Triet; former Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung; former Standing member of the Secretariat Le Hong Anh.

In addition, the program was attended by former members of the Party Central Committee; leaders and former leaders of central ministries, departments and branches; representatives of local leaders; representatives of veteran revolutionary cadres, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, Heroes of the People's Armed Forces, Heroes of Labor, generals of the People's Armed Forces, etc.

The program has the participation of famous artists and singers such as: People's Artist Thanh Thuy, People's Artist Tu Long, People's Artist Thuy Linh, Meritorious Artist Vu Thang Loi, Meritorious Artist Phuong Anh, singers Tung Duong, Cam Van, the group "Anh trai vu ngan cong gai" ..., along with more than 1,000 singers, artists from art troupes of military regions, military branches, Border Guard, Army Theater, Army University of Culture and Arts, Army Ceremonial Troupe, mass actors, dance schools, universities in Ho Chi Minh City.

The program brought to delegates and audiences many typical songs such as: Country, Melody of the Fatherland, Faithful to a Faith, The South forever remembers His grace, Song of Hope, Unforgettable Song, Soldiers' Shirt Color, Forgetting Yourself for the People, Truong Sa Military Song, Country Full of Joy, Spring in Ho Chi Minh City,...

With melodies containing profound content, the performances of the program “The Country is Full of Joy” focus on praising the love for the homeland, the country, praising the Communist Party of Vietnam, beloved President Ho Chi Minh, and portraying the noble image of Uncle Ho’s soldiers. The program also brings to the audience proud melodies, melodies of a peaceful and renewed country, melodies carrying the ambition of the entire nation, entering an era of growth.

The program "A Country Full of Joy" lasts 90 minutes with 19 art performances, structured into three chapters: "Aspiration for Unification", "Aspiration for Rising" and "Aspiration for Power".

The program is an affirmation of strong belief and aspiration to develop the country in the new era, true to the spirit of Ho Chi Minh City over the past 50 years, rising from hardship to become the leading economic and cultural center of the country.
