Attending the congress were Party Central Committee members: Nguyen Dinh Khang - President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; Nguyen Thuy Anh - Chairman of the National Assembly's Social Committee; Nguyen Van The - Secretary of the Party Committee of Central Agencies; Pham Tat Thang - Deputy Head of the Central Mass Mobilization Commission; Bui Thanh Son - Minister of Foreign Affairs; Nguyen Chi Dung - Minister of Planning and Investment; Huynh Thanh Dat - Minister of Science and Technology; Luong Quoc Doan - President of the Vietnam Farmers' Union; Do Tien Sy - General Director of the Voice of Vietnam; Le Ngoc Quang - General Director of Vietnam Television.

Comrade Bui Quang Huy - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee - First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and former members of the Party Central Committee, leaders and former leaders of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union attended the congress.

Speaking at the opening of the Congress, Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, President of the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union, stated that the 6th Congress of the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union will decide on important issues of trade union activities and the movement of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers in the next 5 years.

"This is an important political forum, a great festival for cadres, union members and employees of the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union. The Congress takes place at a time when our entire Party, people and army are striving, seizing opportunities and advantages, overcoming all difficulties and challenges, determined to successfully implement the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, Resolution No. 02 of the Politburo on innovation of the organization and operation of the Vietnam Trade Union in the new situation" - Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu affirmed.

In the 2018 - 2023 term, in the context of many difficulties, especially the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, with a sense of responsibility, solidarity, flexibility and creativity, the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union at all levels has strived to overcome all difficulties and challenges, innovated the content and methods of operation, proposed many new policies and solutions and effectively organized implementation, basically completing the goals, tasks and targets set by the Resolution of the 5th Congress of the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union.

The activities of the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union at all levels have actively contributed to the successful completion of political tasks of each agency and unit, continuing to affirm the role and position of the trade union organization, contributing to building a clean and strong Party and State.

Towards the Congress, from the beginning of 2023 until now, trade unions at all levels have focused on organizing congresses at their level well, encouraging cadres, union members, and workers to compete to achieve achievements to welcome trade union congresses at all levels and the 6th Congress of the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union, the 13th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union with many practical and meaningful activities.

Trade unions at all levels have promoted their intelligence, discussed enthusiastically and contributed many opinions to the documents submitted to the Congress and sent many recommendations and proposals to the Party, the State and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor...
