At the Hanoi Club's departure ceremony on the morning of August 13, striker Pham Tuan Hai shared his future plans.

According to the striker born in 1998, he wants to contribute to Hanoi FC and is ready for the new season full of pressure. However, Tuan Hai has not given up on his dream of going abroad.

"I still want to go abroad to develop my career. I have presented my wishes to the club's management board about having received an offer from a team from Latvia (Europe). However, the time is relatively urgent, as the European transfer market is about to close," Tuan Hai affirmed.

Striker Pham Tuan Hai will play for Hanoi FC from the 2022 season, after ending his loan contract with Ha Tinh . Ha Tinh FC, formerly known as Hanoi B, used to play in the national first division and then promoted to V-League. This team is where Hanoi FC nurtured promising young talents such as Bui Hoang Viet Anh, Le Van Xuan, Le Xuan Tu and Pham Tuan Hai. All four players later returned to Hanoi FC to play.

Tuan Hai once shared his desire to play abroad. Although his contract with Hanoi FC has been extended until 2027, the former Ha Tinh striker still wants to go on a "study abroad" trip to develop himself.

"There is a detail in this extension, which is that I have discussed my desire to play abroad and the Hanoi Club's leadership is ready to support me in finding a team and related issues so that I can have the best study abroad trip. I know where I am and have no regrets with my career at its peak," Tuan Hai confided.

Hanoi Club is ready to create conditions for Tuan Hai to go abroad.

Currently, Tuan Hai is still discussing and expressing his desire to go abroad to develop his future with the leadership of Hanoi Club.

Sharing about Tuan Hai's case, CEO Nguyen Quoc Tuan of Hanoi Club affirmed:

"During the contract extension with Tuan Hai, Hanoi Club affirmed that they will support and help Tuan Hai to play abroad. Recently, Hanoi team has been looking for offers for Tuan Hai. Both sides set a goal that if there is the best offer, the team will create conditions for you to realize your dream."

Tuan Hai has been the key striker in the Hanoi FC attack since 2022. The 27-year-old striker had an outstanding season in the AFC Champions League Elite, with 3 goals against Urawa Red Diamonds and Wuhan Three Towns, helping Hanoi FC gain 6 points after 6 matches. He won the 2022 Vietnam Silver Ball award.
