Hong Kong (China) team has not played well recently when they lost 5/8 recent matches. Of those, they failed to score in 6/8 matches.

Before the match with the Vietnamese team, SCMP admitted to being worried about the home team's attack.

However, striker Matt Orr was very confident. Before this match, the striker born in 1997 was in good form when he scored 7 goals in the last 6 matches for Guangxi team in the Chinese second division. Therefore, he wanted to score against the Vietnamese team.

Matt Orr said: "I'm in good scoring form and my confidence is high. Hopefully I can continue my scoring streak against Vietnam. We're capable of scoring a few goals against them.

When I step on the pitch, I always try to score as many goals as possible and help my team win. However, it is different to return to the Hong Kong team (China), where there are different teammates and a different way of playing compared to the club.

I hope we can still score. I know Vietnam and Thailand are both strong opponents, but I also think Hong Kong (China) has nothing to lose. Therefore, the whole team needs to make maximum efforts and move forward."

Matt Orr just moved to Guangxi FC in August 2022 from Hong Kong (China) champions Kitchee. He has shown himself in his new role. This player admitted to learning a lot from Lewandowski, Harry Kane or Erling Haaland.

The striker added: "Recently, I have been watching the goals of the world's top strikers over and over again. Lewandowski has 33 goals, 31 of which were in the penalty area.

Harry Kane also has 30 goals, with 28 coming from inside the box. Sometimes the striker's job is to be in the right position, to receive the ball at the right time.

I think I learned a lot of important things and I'm trying to apply that in my matches."
