President's strong message at APEC Business Summit

During the program to attend the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) 2023 High-Level Week, on the afternoon of November 15, 2023 (local time), President Vo Van Thuong delivered a keynote speech at the APEC Business Summit in San Francisco, USA.

The APEC CEO Summit brings together the highest political leaders from the Asia-Pacific region, along with CEOs, entrepreneurs, thought leaders and other stakeholders to discuss the global opportunities and challenges that are shaping economic, environmental and social trends in the region.

This is the largest event of the business community in the region with the participation of more than 2,000 leaders of leading corporations in the world and the Asia-Pacific region.

In his opening speech, President Vo Van Thuong conveyed a strong message to the business community about joining hands to contribute, overcome challenges in the current period and take advantage of opportunities to promote sustainable development of the region and each economy, including Vietnam. Along with President Vo Van Thuong, world leaders attending the conference included: US President Joe Biden, Peruvian President Dina Boluarte, Chilean President Gabriel Boric, Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, Chinese President Xi Jinping, Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr, Thai Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Indonesian President Joko Widodo.
