According to experienced fishermen, Bryde's whales only surface to hunt for prey in the middle of the ocean for about 3-5 seconds each time, so we can only wait for signs on the water surface and flocks of terns to help determine the location of the Bryde's whale before surfacing to catch prey.

As the flock of terns grew larger and circled fiercely close to the water's surface, Bryde's whales emerged from the sea, opening their mouths to catch prey in the early morning light.

Bryde's whales, a large species of whale, have a unique way of hunting. They often herd small schools of fish into groups, then rise to the surface and open their mouths wide to swallow their prey.

Sometimes, they even make fish jump out of the water, creating an impressive sight that attracts seabirds to compete for food.
