On February 29, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Ho Chi Minh City reported on industry activities in February 2024.

According to the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Ho Chi Minh City, the main activity in February was that the Department advised the City People's Committee to organize many activities to take care of Tet for the people such as: Organizing cemetery visits; meetings with former leaders of units of all periods; organizing 43 delegations to visit, wish Tet and give gifts to typical units and individuals...

The most prominent of these is the activity of caring for policy beneficiaries, retirees, the elderly, children, poor households and people in difficult circumstances in a thoughtful and complete manner, following the motto "Tet comes to everyone, every home, leaving no one behind".

Compared to the Lunar New Year of Quy Mao 2023, during the 2024 Lunar New Year, the Department has advised the City People's Committee to add more cases to be taken care of during Tet to help everyone have a warm and full Tet. Many cases that have not received budget support are now supported and taken care of by the city during Tet.
