DNO - On August 13 , at the City Administration Center, Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Trung Chinh chaired a meeting with Sioux Technologies Group (Netherlands) during their visit and work in Da Nang.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Trung Chinh hoped that Sioux Technologies Group would continue to support and accompany the city in developing in the field in which the group has strengths.
The city has many favorable conditions for development, however, to put it into practice, both sides also need specific advice from the units.

Da Nang is also one of the leading localities in the country in innovation. There are many ideas, but the city's budget is not enough to turn ideas into products and to have resources to nurture ideas. Therefore, the city needs advice and support from large organizations and corporations, including Sioux Technologies Group.
In the early stages, Da Nang has researched and trained high-quality human resources for the semiconductor industry. Therefore, Da Nang has a number of policy mechanisms to support this field.
Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Trung Chinh also consulted with the leaders of Sioux Technologies Group on what Da Nang needs to do to retain investors when they come to the city.
At the meeting, Ms. Huynh Lien Phuong, Director of the City's Investment Promotion and Support Department, introduced the current status of the high-tech ecosystem in the city as well as the strategy and preferential policies to support investment in Da Nang in developing high technology, semiconductors, artificial intelligence and innovative startups.

With the experience gained in successfully building the Brainport High-Tech Center model in Eindhoven city (Netherlands), Mr. Hans Duister, founder and CEO of Sioux Technologies Group, discussed solutions suitable for the practical situation of Da Nang city.
At the same time, propose solutions to some of the difficulties the city is facing in developing high-tech industries, especially semiconductors, artificial intelligence, and innovative startups.
At the meeting, the two sides discussed a number of cooperation programs in enhancing the capacity of local enterprises in the high-tech manufacturing supply chain and developing high-quality human resources in the city.
At the same time, discuss issues of mutual interest such as: preferential policies for strategic investors and strategic partners in the field of semiconductors, artificial intelligence (tax incentives, access to land, infrastructure, human resource development policies, etc.)
