Da Nang is mentioned second on the list, after Chinatown in Bangkok, Thailand.

World travel experts highly appreciate the beaches in this "city of bridges", as well as its prime location near Hoi An ancient town, Hue imperial capital and My Son sanctuary.

In the first 9 months of the year, Da Nang welcomed more than 1.6 million international visitors, exceeding the target set at the beginning of the year of welcoming 1.5 million. According to the magazine, Son Tra Peninsula, located 20 minutes from the city center, is also a tourist attraction, home to the 17-story, 67-meter-high Lady Buddha Statue as well as the endangered red-shanked douc langur living in a nature reserve.

Central Vietnamese specialties such as Mi Quang are another highlight of the journey to explore this place. Hotel and resort developers have also taken notice of Da Nang's recent popularity.

Skyscanner's travel trends report in India (a website for searching for airline tickets, hotel rooms, car rentals, etc.) also shows that Da Nang leads the top 10 destinations for Indian tourists with the highest increase in total searches in recent years, up 1141%, double that of the second-ranked city, Almaty (Kazakhstan).

In turn, the top 5 destinations on the list are Almaty (Kazakhstan), Baku (Azerbaijan), Osaka (Japan) and the capital Hanoi (Vietnam) ranked 5th, up 396%.
