When the peach blossoms begin to bud and the young buds awaken, spring has come, bringing life to the earth and all things. The color of spring flowers blends with the bright red flags that spread across the country. For Vietnamese people, the idea of spring is always associated with the birth of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
Sun in the dark
Turning back the pages of the nation's painful history in the early 20th century, we can see the great and great contributions of the Party to the nation. The country was lost, the family was broken, the colonial and feudal regimes were like two pincers weighing down on the country, the people were enslaved, hungry, cold, miserable and miserable, just like in the verses of poet To Huu:
Oh remember those years, long ago
Our village is withered and desolate.
Midnight tax drum beat
Blood flows in the communal house yard, the village road is full of soldiers.

The pain of losing the country and the deep love for the people made many heroes, patriots, and intellectuals struggle to find a way to save the country. But all the struggles failed because there was not a political party capable of leading, rallying the masses, and outlining the correct path of struggle. It was not until the summer of 1920, when the communist soldier Nguyen Ai Quoc, who was then in France, accessed the first draft of Lenin's theses on the national and colonial questions published in the newspaper L'Humanité, that a bright path opened up for the nation.
Lenin's thesis emphasized the task of communist parties to truly support the revolutionary movements of colonial countries; to unite the proletariat of capitalist countries with the working masses of all nations against the common enemy of imperialism and feudalism. That ideology answered Nguyen Ai Quoc's question of the path to national independence and freedom for his compatriots. He was "very moved, excited, enlightened and confident". After a period of activities in France, Nguyen Ai Quoc left the Soviet Union and arrived in Guangzhou, China in November 1924 to build the proletarian revolutionary movement in Vietnam, moving towards establishing a proletarian political party of the working class. In June 1925, he founded the Vietnam Revolutionary Youth Association - the first communist organization of our country.
An extremely important milestone in the history of the Vietnamese nation and the entire Vietnamese people: From February 3-7, 1930, on the Kowloon Peninsula, Hong Kong (China), Nguyen Ai Quoc, on behalf of the Communist International, convened and chaired a conference to unify communist organizations in Vietnam. The conference agreed to unify communist organizations into a single party: the Communist Party of Vietnam. The conference adopted the Platform, Brief Strategy, Brief Program and Brief Charter of the Party. February 3, 1930 became the Founding Day of the Communist Party of Vietnam. The conference to unify communist organizations in Vietnam was as historic as the Party's founding congress. The founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam was the combination of Marxism-Leninism, the patriotic movement and the workers' movement of our country in the early years of the 20th century; is the result of a complete political, ideological and organizational preparation process of a group of pioneering revolutionary soldiers, headed by comrade Nguyen Ai Quoc.
The Party was born like a torch lighting the way in the darkness, opening up the prospect of independence for the nation and happiness for the people. Although the road ahead is still full of thorns and storms, on the horizon, dawn has broken.
If spring is late, my dear!
From hopeless, vast, dark night
The person has arrived, the sun is shining brightly
In my heart, oh dear Party
Live again, how happy!
The feelings of the patriotic young man To Huu when he met the guiding light of the Party in the spring of that year were also the common mood and feelings of communist soldiers and patriotic people when they found the truth, when there was a revolutionary organization that could save the whole nation and the fate of each individual.
Live with the Party, die without leaving the Party
94 years since its founding, the Party has ignited the fire of struggle for the entire nation. On January 28, 1941, Nguyen Ai Quoc returned to the country after “thirty years of tireless journey”. He lived in Pac Bo cave - Cao Bang to lead the revolutionary movement, preparing for a general uprising to seize power. On August 19, 1945, the August Revolution succeeded, on September 2, 1945, at a large rally in Ba Dinh Square, President Ho Chi Minh solemnly read the Declaration of Independence giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, ending the colonial and feudal regime that had weighed heavily on the country for nearly 100 years.

Over the past 94 years, a long journey of leading the entire people to seize power, maintain power, protect the nation's invaluable independence, eliminate poverty and backwardness, lead the country to socialism, initiate and lead the cause of innovation, and deeply integrate Vietnam into the world, the Communist Party of Vietnam has demonstrated its qualities and role in power. The Party has led, gathered and multiplied the strength of the entire nation.
Live with the Party, die without leaving the Party
A pure heart shines forever
The sun is sometimes cloudy
My heart is still red with fresh blood
For our country to be independent, free, dignified and beautiful today, and for people in all regions to have a prosperous and happy life, millions of heroes, revolutionary soldiers, patriots, and steadfast senior leaders of the Party have endured hardships, shackles, imprisonment, brutal torture and had to go to the execution ground, but all of them still kept their loyalty to the Party intact, their unwavering fighting spirit against the enemy, and their revolutionary optimism such as: Tran Phu, Le Hong Phong, Ngo Gia Tu, Nguyen Van Cu, Nguyen Duc Canh, Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, To Hieu, Truong Chinh, Xuan Thuy, Le Van Luong, Ha Huy Tap, Ho Tung Mau, Vo Thi Sau, Ly Tu Trong... Every mountain, every river, every inch of land, every blade of grass in this country is soaked with the blood and sweat of millions of cadres, party members and patriots with "a heart that shines forever", who consider the life of the Party and the life of the nation more important than their own lives.
On the threshold of the Giap Thin spring, recalling the proud and glorious journey of the Party, we cherish even more what our country has achieved today. As General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong wrote: "Our country has never had such a foundation, potential, position and international prestige as today". Closing 2023, in the context of more difficulties and challenges than opportunities and advantages, the world situation has many unusual and complicated developments, Vietnam has achieved many important and comprehensive results, many fields have achieved outstanding achievements and marks. GDP growth reached about 5%, belonging to the group of countries with high growth in the region and the world. Politics is stable. People's lives are increasingly changing towards prosperity and civilization. In particular, the Party's drastic and effective anti-corruption campaign has further deepened the people's trust in the Party. Although “the sun is sometimes cloudy”, as the poet To Huu once wrote: “Our hearts are still red with fresh blood”. The people’s trust in the Party and Uncle Ho is as strong as a mountain and cannot be easily shaken.
The Party Committee and People of Ha Tinh are determined and make efforts to bring Ha Tinh up, become rich and develop...
The new day is knocking on the door of every house, knocking on the door of every soul. On the land of Lam Hong, rich in patriotic and revolutionary traditions, welcoming the new spring of Giap Thin in the colorful flowers and the traditional flavor of the national New Year, the people of Ha Tinh are even more proud of the glorious Party, the great Uncle Ho and the Party leaders who are the children of the homeland: Tran Phu, Ha Huy Tap; the heroes of the land of Hong La such as: Ly Tu Trong, Phan Dinh Giot, Vo Trieu Chung, Vo Thi Tan...
The heroic Soviet blood flows in our hearts, transforming into revolutionary actions so that the Party Committee and the People of Ha Tinh, together with the whole country, can complete the national liberation work and today we are determined to make efforts to bring Ha Tinh up, become rich and develop. Although the journey is still full of hardships, when the whole Party and the people have confidence and join hands, we will certainly reach the destination: making the people rich, the country strong, the society fair, democratic and civilized as the earnest wish of beloved Uncle Ho.
