Starfield surpasses 1 million concurrent players on first day

According to Games Hub , Xbox head Phil Spencer revealed that Bethesda Game Studios' new role-playing game Starfield saw more than 1 million concurrent active players on its first day of release, September 6.

Specifically, on the social network Twitter/X, Spencer shared a tweet with the content: "Today, Starfield surpassed 1 million concurrent players across all platforms. Thank you to all the players who helped us reach this important milestone and congratulations to @BethesdaStudios".

This memorable figure is compiled from total player numbers across platforms like Xbox Series X/S, as well as PC (via Steam and the Microsoft Store).

In fact, September 6 is not Starfield 's original launch date, as those who purchased the game's premium edition have been getting early access to the title since September 1, 2023.
