National Highway 4D has landslides and rocks on the positive slope at 5 locations with a volume of about 2,445.5m 3 (especially at Km100+500, the positive slope landslide with a volume of about 2,400m 3 caused traffic jam from 10am, by 2:30pm, 1 lane was temporarily opened, with a risk of further landslides and many large trees with a collapse arc of about 40m high). On National Highway 4, there were landslides and rocks on the positive slope at 4 locations with a volume of about 1,936m 3 (especially at Km196+900, the positive slope landslide with a volume of about 1,890m 3 caused traffic jam from 6am, by 8:30am, 1 lane was temporarily opened, with a risk of further landslides); Landslide on negative slope at 2 locations with a length of about 18m, damaged 30m of reinforced ditch, 90m of 2 road surfaces, 3 markers, 4 guide markers.

There are 26 landslides and rockfalls on provincial roads. Provincial Road 153 has landslides and rockfalls on the positive slope at 4 locations, with a total volume of about 119.3m 3 ; mud overflows along the ditches at 3 locations with a total length of about 25m; 1 underground overflow location is filled and blocked. Provincial Road 154 has landslides and rockfalls on the positive slope at 5 locations, with a total volume of about 124m 3 ; mud overflows along the ditches at 3 locations, with a total length of about 925m. Provincial Road 155 has mud overflowing the road surface at 10 locations with a volume of about 1,322.1m 3 . Provincial Road 159 has landslides and rockfalls on the positive slope at 2 locations with a total volume of about 54m 3 . Provincial Road 160 has mud overflowing the road surface at 4 locations, with a volume of about 39.2m 3 ; the roadside is washed away at 2 locations with an area of about 45.8m 2 ; mud overflowing the road surface at 7 locations, with a volume of about 57.5m 3 ; mud overflowing the longitudinal ditch at 6 locations with a total length of about 129m. Provincial Road 162 has a negative slope landslide at 1 location with a length of about 15m ; mud overflowing the road surface at 1 location with a volume of about 28m 3 .

Immediately after the flood, Lao Cai Road Maintenance Management Board sent inspectors directly to the scene and directed the contractor to perform regular maintenance; Road Management Department focused human resources and machinery to immediately clear soil, rocks and obstacles on the sidewalk, road surface, ditches and stretch reflective ropes, and place warning signs at landslide locations to ensure safety for people and vehicles participating in traffic.
