Saigontourist Group develops Korean market during General Secretary To Lam's visit

The highlight of the program series is the Vietnam - Korea Economic Forum, the ceremony to hand over cooperation documents between localities and enterprises of the two countries taking place on August 12, 2025 with the participation of General Secretary To Lam and Korean Prime Minister Kim Min-Seok along with the delegations of leaders of Vietnam and Korea, with the participation of more than 400 leading corporations and enterprises of Korea and Vietnam. Accordingly, Saigontourist Group, Vietnam Airlines and the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) agreed to sign a cooperation agreement to promote tourism development between Korea and Vietnam through promoting, marketing, researching, and expanding tourism products and flight routes in the period of 2025-2030. This cooperation aims to provide the best service to Vietnamese and Korean customers through sharing and updating complete and accurate information about products and services of the parties for Vietnamese - Korean and international tourists, as well as introducing and widely promoting tourist destinations in Vietnam and Korea.

At the Business Forum of the two countries, Saigontourist Group, Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) and Coex Exhibition and Convention Center (Korea) signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement. The parties committed to closely coordinate in many areas, including: Market research, building survey documents, organizing research, understanding the market, trends, customer needs, requirements for related products and services; Exchange of management and operation experience, effective implementation methods; coordination and support to improve the efficiency of product quality, services and expertise through training programs and experience exchange.

The parties will jointly plan and develop exhibition projects; participate in exhibitions and MICE events organized by each party; develop diverse and attractive tourism products and MICE services; connect tourism information and destinations of Vietnam and Korea; cooperate in introducing and promoting each other's brands, products and services, and participate in events organized by the parties in Vietnam and Korea; Develop a file of MICE customers and tourists from Vietnam to Korea.

On this occasion, another important cooperation agreement was signed between Saigontourist Travel Service Company (under Saigontourist Group), Vietnam Airlines and Hanatour Tourism Group (Korea). This tripartite cooperation focuses on effectively exploiting two-way tourism between Vietnam and Korea.

Specifically, the parties will cooperate in the following main activities: Jointly promoting tourism in Vietnam and Korea, promoting the brand image of Saigontourist Travel, Vietnam Airlines and Hanatour in both countries; Cooperating in developing and exploiting diverse tourism products of Saigontourist Travel, Vietnam Airlines and Hanatour in Vietnam and Korea; Providing attractive promotional packages from the three units for Vietnamese and Korean tourists; Cooperating in organizing survey tours (fam tours), market research trips (fam trips) in Vietnam and Korea for tourism organizations, media units and important delegations.
