In his opening speech, Mr. Dinh Van Thieu, Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee of Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Sea Festival 2023 said that this is one of the important events to celebrate the 370th anniversary of the construction and development of Khanh Hoa province (1653-2023).
The 10th Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Sea Festival - 2023 will be held from June 3-6 with the theme "Khanh Hoa - Aspiration for Development".
At this year's Sea Festival, there will be more than 70 activities, unique art programs, and modern art light programs performed with 1,653 drones expressing pride in the homeland's sea and islands, praising the richness of the sea, expressing the vitality, breath, and characteristics of the land of agarwood and bird's nest.
At the same time, it is the blend of traditional cultural colors of the nation with contemporary cultural colors, creating an atmosphere of solidarity, expressing the respect and hospitality of local people towards domestic and international tourists and friends.
From there, contributing to the successful implementation of the Action Program of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee on implementing Resolution No. 09 of the Politburo on building and developing Khanh Hoa province to 2030, with a vision to 2045.
“Through the activities and events in the 2023 Sea Festival program, Khanh Hoa province wants to introduce to the people and tourists the image of a safe, peaceful, hospitable destination, a dynamic land, actively developing and integrating with the traditional cultural identity values of Khanh Hoa homeland…”, Mr. Thieu said.

The opening ceremony was broadcast live on VTV1 of Vietnam Television. The opening night began with a light show featuring 10 motorized paragliders, 10 LED kites, and 10 hot air balloons flying in the festival sky, along with a modern sound and light show.
During the program, locals and tourists were able to watch a grand and vibrant art performance through performances such as Vietnamese Spirit, Love Song of the Sea, Dawn on the Ocean - Nha Trang, the City I Love, Big Festival, Golden Sunshine, Blue Sea and You, Radiant East - With the Summer Sea...
The program has the participation of artists and singers such as Vo Ha Tram, Issac, Thanh Duy Idol, Dong Hung, Hai Yen Idol, Truong Thuy Duong, Oplus Group, Giao Thoi Group... along with 700 professional and non-professional actors from Saigon Dance Group, Hai Dang Song and Dance Group, Khanh Hoa University, Air Force Officer School, Khanh Hoa Provincial Children's Cultural House.

The most anticipated part for the audience was the artistic light show using 1,653 drones that made the sky of the coastal city of Nha Trang brilliant and sparkling.
