Joan Garcia has emerged as one of the brightest goalkeepers in La Liga this season.

According to MARCA , Garcia's impressive performances have attracted the attention of the Spanish football giants, especially with reserve goalkeeper Andriy Lunin likely to leave the Santiago Bernabéu this summer. Garcia, 23, has impressed with his quick reflexes, consistency and calm play under pressure.

He is one of the most promising young goalkeepers in Spain. With a relatively low release clause of just £26 million, the deal is within Real Madrid's financial capacity.

However, Real Madrid will not have an easy time in this deal, as Premier League teams such as Manchester United and Arsenal are also pursuing the Espanyol goalkeeper. In the summer of 2024, Arsenal expressed interest in Garcia, but Espanyol insisted on demanding the full £26 million according to the contract release clause.
