According to Dan Viet newspaper reporters, a "huge" amount of garbage has washed up on the shores of Nhat Le and Bao Ninh in Dong Hoi city (Quang Binh province). The garbage is mainly tree branches, large rotten wood, buoys, nets, animal carcasses, fresh duckweed, etc. The garbage washed up relatively thickly, stretching across the entire beach, partly buried under the sand.

According to local people, the impact of strong winds and heavy rains in Quang Binh province has caused garbage to accumulate on Nhat Le and Bao Ninh beaches in Dong Hoi city (Quang Binh province). These are two beautiful beaches in this province, so the appearance of a lot of garbage has affected the landscape of the beach.

Faced with this situation, the Dong Hoi City Public Service Management Board directed the beach environmental team to concentrate forces and means to increase garbage collection, and at the same time coordinate with the union members to join hands in cleaning the beach.

In recent days, all human resources and equipment of the beach environmental team have been mobilized to strengthen the work. Garbage is raked, collected and brought to the sidewalk to be loaded onto collection vehicles, transported to the collection point and processed according to regulations.

According to the leader of the Dong Hoi City Public Service Management Board, garbage collection is very difficult because of the large amount of garbage, especially the heavily waterlogged garbage. The transportation from the sandbank to the collection point is quite steep and far. There are areas where garbage has just been collected but the garbage from the sea continues to drift ashore.

"The Board will continue to collect garbage and duckweed in the remaining areas, trying to handle it quickly and thoroughly, ensuring environmental hygiene of the beach," said the leader of the Dong Hoi City Public Service Management Board.
