Mexican Congress examines the bodies of 2 aliens?

The bodies of two "non-human" creatures were presented at a recent hearing of the Mexican Congress, surprising many people, as this agency considered the possibility of aliens for the first time.

The mummies, which were placed in two small display cases in Congress on September 12, were presented by Jaime Maussan, a controversial Mexican journalist and researcher who said he found them in Peru in 2017.

"They are not human beings. We don't want to call them aliens because we don't know," Maussan said in a session convened by ruling party lawmaker Sergio Gutierrez. Gutierrez said he had called the session for the "common good".

Maussan cited carbon dating analysis from the National Autonomous University of Mexico that showed "these creatures are about 1,000 years old."

Mr. Gutierrez asked those involved to swear an oath to tell the truth during the hearing. He said Mr. Maussan had requested the meeting after a former intelligence official told a U.S. congressional committee in July that humans are not alone in space and that the U.S. government was covering up evidence.

In May, the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) held its first public meeting on the issue and called for a more rigorous scientific approach to clarifying the origins of unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP).
