Quang Tri: Fisherman's body found after 2 days missing

After 2 days of searching, authorities and local people found the body of fisherman MVL (born in 1977, residing in Dong Tan village, My Thuy commune, Quang Tri province).

Handing over the body of MVL fisherman to the people for funeral arrangements

On the afternoon of August 12, Hai An Border Guard Station ( Quang Tri Province Border Guard) announced that search and rescue forces had discovered the body of fisherman MVL (born in 1977, residing in Dong Tan village, My Thuy commune). This is the victim who went missing while fishing at sea on the morning of August 10.

The victim's body was found on the morning of August 12 in an area about 9km from shore, not far from the location where the fishing boat that MVL fishermen used to go offshore at 2am on August 10 was discovered.

Immediately after discovery, authorities brought the victim's body ashore and completed the necessary procedures to hand it over to the family for funeral arrangements.
