Permanent Deputy Prime Minister: Hue needs to proactively seek new growth drivers

At the meeting, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh highly appreciated the socio -economic development efforts of Hue City in the first 6 months of 2025.

Comrade Nguyen Hoa Binh acknowledged the proactive, decisive and responsible spirit of the Hue City government in organizing and operating the 2-level local government model, ensuring the stability of the apparatus, the mentality of officials and the quality of service to the people; promoting public investment, and being ready to implement key national projects. The preservation and promotion of cultural heritage values ​​and Festivals have left a clear mark.

Besides, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh requested Hue City to continue to pay attention and focus on organizing the smooth and effective operation of the two-level local government.

According to comrade Nguyen Hoa Binh, it is necessary to clearly understand that organizing a two-level local government is a major and correct policy of the Party and State, aiming to eliminate intermediate steps, build a streamlined government apparatus, operate more effectively, efficiently, and effectively; be closer to the people and serve the people better.

The Permanent Deputy Prime Minister also requested Hue City to continue to thoroughly grasp the spirit of the Central Resolution on private economic development and proactively mobilize social resources.

At the same time, it is necessary to proactively seek new growth drivers, especially in the fields of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation; promote the spirit of innovation and dynamism, make the most of resources, focus on successfully implementing socio-economic development goals, to create new development milestones of a long-term nature, meeting higher growth requirements, including the goal of striving to achieve a growth rate of over 10% in the coming term.

On the same afternoon, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh visited and inspected the FPT Hue Education Complex project.

According to the training orientation and objectives, the complex focuses strongly on key technology fields such as STEM, AI and Robotics, contributing to building high-quality human resources to effectively implement the "strategic quartet ", especially Resolution 57-NQ/TW.
