Launching the 2024 Reading Culture Ambassador Contest

The Provincial Library is launching the 2024 Reading Culture Ambassador contest. This is one of the contents to continue implementing the Prime Minister 's Project "Developing reading culture in the community to 2020, orientation to 2030, period 2021 - 2025".

The contest is for students of all levels and students of schools in the province. The entries include 2 pre-determined questions, divided into 2 groups. The group for primary and secondary school students and the group for high school and university students. Candidates are required to fully answer both questions of one topic, with healthy, clear content, in accordance with Vietnamese customs and culture; ensuring accuracy, information security and other relevant legal regulations. The books shared in the entries must be legally published in Vietnam, with a specific and complete introduction of the book's source of publication.

The Organizing Committee notes: This is an independent entry, presented in Vietnamese. The length of the article must not exceed 5,000 words. If making a short film ( Video Clip), the minimum duration is 5 minutes, maximum 10 minutes; effects, techniques can be used and the quality of images, sound... must be guaranteed and suitable for posting on YouTube. Candidates can submit their entries at the school where they are studying or directly to the Provincial Library.

The time for receiving entries is from April 2024 to June 30, 2024. After the preliminary round at the Provincial Library, qualified works will be sent to the final round organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. The national final round and award ceremony, honoring the 2024 Reading Culture Ambassador, is expected to take place at the end of October 2024 in Viet Tri City (Phu Tho).
