According to Decision No. 2295/QD-UBND dated September 10, 2024 of the Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Nhan - Standing Deputy Secretary of Bao Yen district, was transferred and appointed to hold the position of Head of the Ethnic Minorities Committee of Lao Cai province .

Presenting the decision to appoint and assign tasks to Mr. Nguyen Xuan Nhan, Ms. Giang Thi Dung - Vice Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee congratulated Mr. Nguyen Xuan Nhan on being trusted and appointed by the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and Provincial People's Committee to hold the position of Head of the Ethnic Minorities Committee. Ms. Giang Thi Dung emphasized that Mr. Nguyen Xuan Nhan is a well-trained cadre, matured from the grassroots, and has held many positions such as: Vice Chairman of Simacai District People's Committee, Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, and Standing Deputy Secretary of Bao Yen District.

In her new position, Ms. Giang Thi Dung hopes that Mr. Nguyen Xuan Nhan will continue to promote his capacity and strengths, together with the collective of cadres, civil servants, and employees of the Lao Cai Provincial Ethnic Minorities Committee to unite and implement well the ethnic work and ethnic policies. Pay attention to effectively implementing the National Target Program 1719; strengthen consultation with the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and Provincial People's Committee on ethnic policies to contribute to promoting socio-economic development in remote, isolated, and ethnic minority areas.
