On the afternoon of November 1, the Ha Nam Provincial Federation of Labor (FFL) held a conference to announce the decision to appoint officials of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Standing Committee of the Ha Nam Provincial Party Committee.

At the conference, the representative of the Organizing Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor announced the decision of the General Confederation of Labor on recognizing the results of the election of additional members of the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and the position of Chairman of the Ha Nam Provincial Confederation of Labor, term 2023-2028 for comrade Nguyen Hai Long, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Ha Nam Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, from October 24, 2024.

At the same time, the representative of the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee announced the decision of the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee on assigning and transferring comrade Nguyen Hai Long to stop holding the position of Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department to take on the position of Chairman of the Ha Nam Provincial Labor Federation.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Phan Van Anh, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, congratulated and assigned tasks to the new President of the Ha Nam Provincial Confederation of Labor. Mr. Phan Van Anh emphasized the importance of improving the leadership skills, solidarity and responsibility of Mr. Nguyen Hai Long, promoting the central role of connecting cadres, being a solid bridge between the Provincial Confederation of Labor and the provincial leadership agencies, contributing to the strong development of the workers' movement and trade union activities of the province.

Comrade Nguyen Hai Long expressed his gratitude to the Provincial Party Committee and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor for entrusting him with the task. In his new position, he pledged to continuously learn, practice and work with the team to build a united agency, excellently completing all assigned tasks, especially protecting the legal and legitimate rights of union members, civil servants and workers in the area.
