People's Artist My Uyen shared that on New Year's Day, the audience will enjoy a family musical play for the Year of the Dragon 2024 called "The World of Toys and the Story of the Dragon Boy" by author Vuong Huyen Co, directed by Minh Quoc.

This promises to be a colorful play, carrying a good humane message to parents and young audiences.

The first performance will be presented to the audience on the evening of January 11. The play will feature the following artists: People's Artist My Uyen, Meritorious Artist Vo Minh Lam, artist Tuyen Map, Nguyen Hong Dao, Minh Thao, Tran Tuan Kiet, Ky Thien Canh, Khanh Dang, Quoc Cuong, Thu Cuc, baby Quoc Vu, Gia Han, Cao Anh Kim, Thien Kim...

The story is about a little girl named Mai who has a comfortable life but rarely has contact with her mother, making her lonely. Mai has a lot of toys but abuses and tortures her to vent her anger.

One day, Mai was suddenly drawn into the world of toys. With a funny encounter with the Dragon boy in that magical world, Mai understood her mistakes and was able to return to the real world.

This is the 5th children's play written by author Vuong Huyen Co and staged by Ho Chi Minh City Small Stage Drama Theater.

She said that it is a noble mission that she always aims for, to create more playgrounds for children with educational dramatic stories, and at the same time, a lively entertainment world appropriate for their age.
