Alley 1 was upgraded with the help of people's contributions.
According to comrade Pham Duong, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thoi An Dong Ward, after merging Thoi An Dong Ward, Tra Noc Ward and Tra An Ward to establish Thoi An Dong Ward, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward quickly stabilized the organization, issued operating regulations; reviewed effective movements and operating models to continue to maintain and implement, in order to take good care of people's lives and build a civilized residential area.
In addition, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward launched the Front, socio -political organizations to coordinate with Party committees and People's Committees of the areas to register to carry out projects and tasks to welcome the Party Congress, the Front, and socio-political organizations. Through the launch, the Front and socio-political organizations of the ward registered to carry out many projects and tasks: building houses, upgrading alleys, installing flagpoles and lighting systems... The projects and tasks bring practical benefits, contributing to taking good care of people's lives, and beautifying the city...
The project to upgrade alleys 2, 3, 4 in area 4 (old Tra Noc) was implemented by the Ward Veterans Association, together with the Party Committee and People's Committee of the area, mobilizing people to contribute 125 million VND. Mr. Pham Van Ngay, Vice Chairman of the Thoi An Dong Ward Veterans Association, said: "The Association coordinated with local officials to organize a meeting with people to discuss the upgrade plan and the form of contribution of each household to create consensus. The members, together with officials and people of the area, participated in leveling the ground to reduce the cost of implementing the project."
Alley 1 in Area 6 (old Tra Noc) has just been upgraded. Accordingly, the Ward Women's Union coordinated with the Party Committee and People's Committee of the area to mobilize people to contribute more than 200 million VND to upgrade the alley and install a new flagpole. Ms. Huynh Thi Thanh Phuong in Area 6 shared: "Previously, the alley was low and often flooded during heavy rains. Thanks to the mobilization of officials at all levels to upgrade the alley, people can travel conveniently and safely."
To celebrate the Party Congress at all levels, the Ward Farmers' Association coordinated with the Party Committee and People's Committee of Thoi Thuan area to mobilize people to install 62 flagpoles, with a total amount of 15 million VND. According to Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Thanh, a resident of Thoi Thuan area, when the ward and area officials mobilized, local people became more aware of the meaningful work, and agreed to contribute so that the flag hanging on holidays and Tet would be synchronized and solemn, creating a more beautiful landscape for the residential area.

In particular, the Ward Front coordinated to build a Great Unity house for a household with housing difficulties, install lighting, make a flagpole, replace the new flag, and patch up sunken roads. The Ward Veterans Association coordinated to upgrade alleys, install solar lighting. The Ward Women's Union coordinated to upgrade alleys, install flagpoles, and lighting systems. The Farmers' Association coordinated to carry out dredging projects to clear the flow for agricultural production, install flagpoles. The Ward Youth Union coordinated to upgrade alleys, plant trees, etc.
Implementing the two-level local government model, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations of Thoi An Dong ward have gradually stabilized the organizational structure; focused on propaganda and mobilization work; gathered and united union members, association members, and people from all walks of life to participate in patriotic emulation movements and campaigns launched by the Front. Thereby, promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc, consolidating confidence in the Party's leadership, and encouraging people from all walks of life to participate in building Thoi An Dong ward to develop more and more.
