On the evening of July 4, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training announced the benchmark scores for public 10th grade. This is the total score of three subjects: Math, Literature and Foreign Language, with a maximum of 30.

Accordingly, Kim Lien High School and Le Quy Don - Ha Dong have the highest standard score of 25.5; followed by Viet Duc High School and Phan Dinh Phung High School with 25.25 points. Yen Hoa, the school with the highest competition rate this year, has 25 points.

Schools with the lowest 10-point benchmark include Tho Xuan, Bac Luong Son, Minh Quang, Ung Hoa B, Luu Hoang and Dai Cuong high schools. Students only need to score above 3 points in each subject to pass.

The 10th grade entrance exam in Hanoi took place on June 7-8 with nearly 103,000 candidates. Of these, about 13,000 candidates registered to take an additional specialized subject exam on June 9. This is the most crowded 10th grade exam in the country.

According to the Department of Education and Training, at least 64% of students have places to study, equivalent to more than 81,000 students.

Previously, the Department of Education and Training of Noi Bai announced the enrollment plan for grade 10 of 84 private and self-financed public schools in 2025. Accordingly, schools have two forms of enrollment: admission based on junior high school transcripts and consideration of public grade 10 exam scores in 2025.

Of these, 33 schools do not use the results of the public 10th grade exam. The list includes many private schools such as: Doan Thi Diem, Newton, Phenikaa, TH School, Olympia, Viet Uc, Le Quy Don...

On the contrary, there are 4 high schools that do not consider transcripts but only consider public 10th grade exam scores: Hoang Cau, Thanh Xuan, Le Ngoc Han and An Duong Vuong.

Details of the enrollment plans of 84 schools are as follows:
