Many meaningful activities towards the 30th anniversary of Nafoods Group

As a company originating from Nghe An, Nafoods Group has always accompanied and supported many people and disadvantaged areas of the province since its inception. This year, towards the 30th anniversary of its establishment (1995-2025), charitable activities continue to be effectively implemented, affirming the goal that the company always pursues: Social responsibility goes hand in hand with growth.

In mid-July, the staff and workers of Nafoods Group launched a series of volunteer activities with a humanitarian blood donation program at Nghe An Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center.

This is an activity that Nafoods has maintained for many years, attracting the participation of a large number of officers and employees. Among them, many individuals have participated in blood donation campaigns launched by the province many times.

In this particular event, more than 250 units of blood were donated on this occasion, contributing to timely replenishment of the blood bank, helping patients in need of blood transfusions have more treatment opportunities.

Continuing the blood donation program, from July 23 to 27, Nafoods Group organized a gratitude journey in Nghe An and Ha Tinh , towards the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day.

The highlight of the journey was the incense and flower offering ceremony at the Dong Loc T-junction Historical Site - where 10 female youth volunteers fell at the age of eighteen or twenty. In a solemn atmosphere, the delegation expressed their deep gratitude for the sacrifices of the heroic martyrs for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.

After the memorial service, Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung - General Director of the Group and members visited and presented gifts to families of policy beneficiaries, war invalids and sick soldiers in Vinh Hung ward. Among them were Ms. Dang Thi Hong (born in 1953, Trung My block), a martyr's relative in difficult circumstances, and Mr. Tran Hai Ly (born in 1949, Trung Tien block) - a 4/4 class war invalid. The couple was often sick, had no pension, and lived in many hardships.

At each family, Nafoods representatives kindly visited, encouraged and gave meaningful gifts with the desire to share some of the difficulties so that the families can improve their lives.

Understanding the severe damage that Western Nghe An suffered after Storm No. 3, Nafoods promptly launched the campaign “Nafoods for Western Nghe An” to promptly share the difficulties with local people. In less than 2 days, the program raised 200 million VND from the Group’s budget and contributions from officers and employees.

Not stopping at material support, Nafoods also sent two volunteer groups to My Ly and Tri Le communes, coordinating with local authorities to help people overcome the consequences and soon stabilize their lives. The efforts of Nafoods members in the process of cleaning up and supporting schools and affected areas have created a beautiful image, spreading the spirit of solidarity and the "helping hand in hand" sentiment of Nghe An people in the midst of hardship.

During its 30-year development journey, Nafoods has always strived to spread humanistic values through charity programs in remote areas, awarding scholarships to students in difficult circumstances, protecting the environment, educating the community...
In my opinion, a sustainable business is not only measured by factory size, export output or brand value, but also by its responsibility to society, to people, and to the land that has nurtured it from the very beginning.

Community-oriented activities contribute to forming a "sharing culture" - a characteristic of Nafoods corporate culture.
