Implementing the voluntary blood donation plan in 2024, the Thanh Son District Red Cross Society has actively advised the District's Voluntary Blood Donation Steering Committee to deploy voluntary blood donation activities and honor individuals with outstanding achievements in voluntary blood donation.

After 2 rounds of organizing the blood donation program, the district collected 1,192 units of blood and honored 14 individuals with outstanding achievements in blood mobilization and blood donation in 2024. Thanh Son town, communes and units actively participated in blood donation, achieved and exceeded targets and mobilized and promoted volunteers to participate in blood donation with high results such as: Giap Lai and Dich Qua communes; schools, District Youth Union...

To achieve that result, the Steering Committee has actively promoted propaganda; created close and synchronous coordination between the standing agency of the Steering Committee and agencies, units, departments, branches, and organizations in propaganda work, mobilizing cadres, party members, and people to actively participate in blood donation. In particular, at the programs, many families have parents, children, spouses, siblings, etc. participating in blood donation, thereby creating motivation and spreading the spirit of love and responsibility to the community.
