The City People's Committee also directed the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police force to continue to review, inspect, evaluate and analyze the level of fire and explosion risks for multi-storey houses, multi-apartment houses, private houses that combine production and business (including rental houses)... to advise, guide and apply appropriate and effective fire and explosion prevention solutions.

The City People's Committee also requested the City Police to coordinate with the Department of Construction, Department of Industry and Trade, City Electricity Corporation and related units, People's Committees of districts and Thu Duc City to organize an interdisciplinary inspection team to conduct a general inspection and review of facilities with high fire and explosion risks.

The focus is on apartment buildings, collective houses, multi-storey houses, multi-apartment houses, private houses combined with production and business (including houses for rent)... in the city. Thereby promptly detecting and requiring immediate correction of existing problems and violations of fire prevention and fighting safety, strictly handling violations according to the law.

The Department of Construction is required to strengthen state management in construction planning, urban planning, and construction order for high-rise buildings, markets, factories, bars, dance halls, karaoke, houses with converted functions and purposes of use, and the above types.

Timely detect and strictly handle violations according to the provisions of law, not allowing construction works that do not comply with the provisions of law on construction and fire prevention and fighting to be put into use; assign specific responsibilities to each organization and individual in appraisal, licensing, and construction order management; strictly handle cases of illegal and unlicensed construction.

Departments, branches, sectors, city organizations, People's Committees of districts and Thu Duc City, based on their functions and tasks, develop plans to organize implementation. Strictly implement the information regime, periodic and ad hoc reporting, send to the City People's Committee (through the City Police) for monitoring and direction.
