(NADS) - On December 8, the program "Xam Hoi Xam" took place successfully at the Vietnam Academy of Music, attracting more than 200 attendees, most of whom were young people.

“Xam Hoi Xam” is a program organized by the Event Organization Student Group “EVS - Event star” of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi together with the Event Organization Student Club - SEG with the desire to preserve and promote the traditional cultural values ​​of the art of Xam singing at the market. The event has created a space where artists and young people have the opportunity to exchange and learn about the traditional artistic values ​​of Xam singing in general, and the Xam singing at the market in particular.

With profound content and rich cultural values, the participation of veteran artists such as Meritorious Artist Xuan Dieu, Artist Hoang Ton, Artist Chau Anh and Dr./MC/BTV Trinh Le Anh, the program has attracted special attention from many young people and audiences who love traditional art. Not only enjoying the elaborate Xam singing performances, everyone also listened to the sharing on the issue of "Xam - the remaining sound of tradition or preserving it through creativity". In addition, the audience also received traditional gifts bearing the mark of Vietnamese culture from the organizers.
