Danish beauty crowned Miss Universe 2024, Ky Duyen stops at Top 30

Surpassing 124 beauties around the world , Victoria Kjær Theilvig - representative of Denmark - won the final round of Miss Universe 2024 held in Mexico on the morning of November 17 (Hanoi time).

The titles of 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th runner-up respectively went to Nigeria, Mexico, Thailand and Venezuela.

In the question and answer session, when asked the general question: "Miss Universe inspires many generations of women; what message do you want to convey to the audience watching the contest?", the Danish beauty replied: "No matter where you come from or who you are, choose to be a strong person. Never give up, believe in yourself, keep fighting and don't give up. I stand here because I want to change the world. Keep pursuing your dreams and you will get good results."

The new Miss Universe is 21 years old, has a beautiful doll-like face with attractive blue eyes and shiny blonde hair. She is 1.72m tall, a former dancer who won prizes at European and world championships. In addition, she is also a businesswoman and wants to become a lawyer in the future.

Previously, Victoria Kjær Theilvig participated in Miss Grand International 2022 but only stopped at the Top 20.

Miss Nguyen Cao Ky Duyen - Vietnam's representative stopped at the Top 30. This made the domestic audience regretful, however, many people commented that entering the Top 30 was a success, because this year's contest gathered many strong competitors.

Ky Duyen's inclusion in this list also helps Vietnam reopen the "intop" streak after 2 consecutive years of "empty-handed" at Miss Universe .

Miss Universe has a 73-year history and is one of the oldest and most prestigious beauty pageants in the world.

To date, Vietnam's highest achievement in this beauty arena is H'Hen Nie. She entered the Top 5 of Miss Universe 2018. In the past two years, Vietnam's representatives Nguyen Thi Ngoc Chau and Bui Quynh Hoa both "left empty-handed" in the contest.
