On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Germany and Vietnam (September 23, 1975 - September 23, 2025), the German Embassy in Hanoi calls on Vietnamese artists to participate in a unique art project: Turn the wall of the German Embassy into your painting.

The German Embassy calls on Vietnamese artists to contribute creative ideas to turn the outer wall of the German Embassy into outdoor paintings.
The selected artworks will demonstrate diverse perspectives and views on the multidimensional relationship between Germany and Vietnam.
The project is organized with the aim of promoting cultural exchange and honoring the talents of young Vietnamese artists.
Interested parties should submit a brief introduction of themselves along with a rough sketch of the work and a list of materials and drawing materials needed to complete the work.
The content of the artwork should clearly represent important aspects of the Vietnam-Germany relationship.
Some suggested topics include Future Aspirations, expressing hopes and dreams for the future of Vietnam-Germany relations; Personal encounters or experiences that have shaped one's understanding of Germany; Cultural exchanges and differences; Historical connections: Exploring the shared history between Vietnam and Germany.
Entries are expected to present personal cultural stories in the context of bilateral relations between Vietnam and Germany.

The live painting session will take place on April 11 at the German Embassy in Hanoi, 27 Tran Phu, Ba Dinh District, Hanoi.
After the event, all artworks will be displayed for 3 months on the wall outside the German Embassy and featured on the anniversary website with information for selling the artworks.
