Nghe An spends more than 1.4 billion VND to reward 75 students with high scores on high school graduation exams

On the morning of August 20, information was reported that the People's Committee of Nghe An province has just decided to award certificates of merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee along with bonuses to 75 students with high scores in the 2025 high school graduation exam.

In the list of students with high scores this year in Nghe An province, there are many students from village schools and disadvantaged schools.

The 75 awarded students were divided into groups, including those who achieved a total score of 33 to 38.75 points in the subject groups.

This is the first year that the rewards are implemented according to new regulations due to changes in the high school graduation exam implemented according to the 2018 General Education Program.

Accordingly, there are 4 groups of students who will be awarded, including: Students who register for the exams in Math, Literature and 2 optional subjects, 2 of which are Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Informatics and Technology; students who register for the exams in Math, Literature and 2 optional subjects, 2 of which are History, Geography, Economic Education and Law; students who register for the exams in Math, Literature, 2 optional subjects, Foreign Language and 1 other subject; students who register for the exams in Math, Literature and the remaining subjects not in the 3 groups above.

Based on the entrance exam results of nearly 39,000 students, Nghe An province selected 75 students with the highest exam scores and ethnic minority students with the next highest scores.

Each student will receive 8 times the basic salary (2.34 million VND), equivalent to 18,720,000 VND/student. The total amount of money they will receive is more than 1.4 billion VND.

It is known that in the 2025 high school graduation exam, Nghe An is the province with the highest average score in the country with 52.92 points.
