Tourists learn about tourism products at Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival
After 4 days of Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival 2024, from April 4-7, the 20th Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival officially ended with many outstanding results, notably the revenue from the Festival's activities reached 140 billion VND, an increase of 33.3% compared to 2023, an increase of 16.67% compared to 2019.
This year's Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival has the participation of more than 100 booths, including 45 booths from provinces and cities; 35 tourism service businesses and units, including businesses belonging to the Ho Chi Minh City tourism stimulus alliance.
The festival has opened up many interesting things for people and tourists at home and abroad to explore, experience, and freely choose to prepare for themselves the most attractive and interesting gifts on the occasion of April 30 - May 1 and in the upcoming summer.
At the same time, the Festival recorded the largest tourism stimulus package ever, many travel and accommodation businesses took advantage of this ideal time to introduce new tourism products and services, suitable for many types of tourists, bringing many golden opportunities for tourists to own the most attractive 30/4-1/5 holiday and summer tours.
More than 400 tourism products, programs, and services are discounted up to 60% by tourism service companies; 100 international tourism programs and inter-regional tourism programs. The City experiences the unique beauty of Ho Chi Minh City as well as the provinces of the Mekong Delta and the Southeast with promotional ticket prices up to 35%; 200,000 vouchers, with a total discount value of up to 50 billion VND from food, shopping, health care, and entertainment establishments that meet standards for serving tourists.
The festival attracted 160,000 visitors, interacting and enjoying art programs in the space of 23/9 Park such as: Acoustic; cosplay stilt performance; workshop on drawing bags/cup bases/fans or making scented bags from coffee grounds; interactive activities on the Festival map; exchange programs introducing culture, tourist destinations between provinces, tourism businesses...
In particular, the Program to Introduce and Promote the Reality Series about Ho Chi Minh City and Interact with Miss Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien attracted 700 participants; the "Ngao Du theo Gu" stimulus program attracted 500 participants.
The results achieved at the Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival 2024 once again clearly demonstrate the strong recovery and growth of Ho Chi Minh City's tourism industry.
