The scientific conference on rehabilitation ended today, after 2 days (September 20 and 21). The conference was organized by the Vietnam Rehabilitation Association, with the participation of nearly 500 delegates, including rehabilitation experts from Japan, Korea, France and Vietnam; experts in coordinating specialties (Surgery, Neurology, Pediatrics, Cardiology, Otorhinolaryngology, Traditional Medicine...) from many hospitals and universities.
According to Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Trong Hai - President of the Vietnam Rehabilitation Association, more than 50 reports by experts have emphasized the importance of rehabilitation in treating and supporting patients after surgery, stroke, trauma as well as chronic diseases. Not only helping patients recover physically, rehabilitation also helps them stabilize their minds, quickly returning to normal life.

At the conference, foreign experts also shared many experiences in rehabilitation for patients. Dr. Junko Fujitani (Head of Rehabilitation Department, National Center for Global Health and Medicine, Japan) shared experiences on “Rehabilitation for stroke patients and introducing the system of providing evidence-based treatment for patients in Japan”.
Professor Jung Kwang-Wook (President of Gyungbuk Provincial Medical Association, Korea) presented the results of "Application of new technology in vestibular rehabilitation in Korea"...
Representatives from Vietnam also had impressive reports in this field. Each report presented at this PHCN conference is a work that doctors and experts have researched and summarized after the treatment process.
Many presentations also mentioned personalized rehabilitation methods, based on the characteristics and needs of each patient. This requires doctors and researchers to constantly update their knowledge and improve their methods to bring optimal results for patients.
Delegates discussed new trends, advanced technologies and modern treatment methods, aiming to promote the development of the rehabilitation industry. This will help improve the quality of life of patients.

According to Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thi Kim Lien (Head of the Department of Rehabilitation, Viet Duc Hospital), representative of the Organizing Committee, the Rehabilitation Science Conference is not only a forum for knowledge exchange but also a place to connect science with medical practice. The scientific studies and reports presented at the conference have created opportunities for experts, doctors, and researchers to share and discuss, thereby proposing new solutions in the field of Rehabilitation.
Furthermore, the conference also opens up opportunities for international cooperation when experts from many countries share the latest achievements in rehabilitation medicine. The combination of new methods and technologies with the experience of domestic and foreign experts will be the driving force to promote the strong development of this field in Vietnam.
