The two majors of Automotive Mechanics and Automotive Mechatronics of Ho Chi Minh City University of Transport got 25.5 points, an increase of 10.5 points compared to last year.

On the morning of August 23, Ho Chi Minh City University of Transport (UTH) announced the admission scores based on the results of the high school graduation exam. The admission scores range from 17 to 25.65, a sharp increase compared to last year.

Information Technology, Logistics Management and Multimodal Transport all have a benchmark score of 25.65 - the highest in the school, an increase of 6.65-8.65 points compared to 2022.

Many other majors with a standard of 24 or higher such as Construction Engineering, Transport Economics , Electrical Engineering, English Language, Data Science, Automation Control Engineering, etc. increased by 7.5-10 points. The remaining majors increased by 4-6 points.

The industry with the lowest benchmark score is Hydraulic Construction Engineering with 17 points, also up 2 points.

In 2022, in the admission method based on high school exam scores, most majors at Ho Chi Minh City University of Transport have a benchmark score of 15. The only three majors with a benchmark score of 19 are Information Technology, Automotive Mechatronics and Automotive Engineering. The other two majors with 17 points are English Language, Logistics and Supply Chain Management.

Ho Chi Minh City University of Transport (UTH) admission scores are as follows:

A university's benchmark score increased dramatically by more than 10 points
A university's benchmark score increased dramatically by more than 10 points - 1

Previously, the school's admission threshold also increased dramatically by 2-7 points. According to the updated enrollment plan in early July, the school recruited 7,040 students, a decrease of nearly 3,000 compared to the above plan. This was due to the school's self-review, along with the request of the Ministry of Education and Training after examining the sudden increase in enrollment quota.

The above 7,000 quotas are allocated to 4 methods: Considering academic records (50% of quotas); direct admission according to the school's project (10%); considering the capacity assessment test scores organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University (5%); considering the high school graduation exam scores (35%).
