Subject Bui Duy Khanh.

Previously, Bui Duy Khanh and his wife QTM (born in 1990, in Thanh Cong commune, Thach Thanh district) had a conflict in their family relationship. Although Thanh My commune police and other authorities intervened and reconciled many times, the conflict was still not resolved.

At around 7:00 p.m. on July 26, after receiving a report from Mr. QVL (Ms. M.'s biological father) that Ms. M. was being kept at home by Khanh and not allowed to go out, Thanh Cong Commune Police went to the house to check and invited both of them to the Commune Police headquarters to resolve the matter.

While Ms. M. was driving her motorbike to the commune police station, Khanh went into the room, took a bottle of acid (contained in a glass bottle, capacity 20ml) and threw it straight at Ms. M.'s face, causing her to be injured in the face and both eyes, requiring emergency care.

Immediately afterwards, Khanh was arrested by Thanh Cong Commune Police, who made a record of the arrest of the person caught red-handed.

According to initial information, Ms. M. suffered severe injuries to her face, neck and both eyes, and is likely to be permanently blind.
