On the evening of April 28, at Ocean Park in Bai Chay Ward, Ha Long City, Quang Ninh Province, Ha Long Carnival 2024 took place with the theme "Lighting up the land of wonders".

This is an annual event held since 2007 and has become a tourism brand of Ha Long City in particular and Quang Ninh province in general, attracting the attention and participation of many domestic and international tourists.

Attending Ha Long Carnival 2024, delegates, people, domestic and international tourists experienced many emotions with live art and the first Carnival at sea in Vietnam.

The art program includes 5 acts: "Ha Long Legend", "Fishing Village", "Commercial Port", "Ha Long Carnaval Heritage Dance" and "Lighting Up with Wonders" with the participation of about 2,000 actors, artists and dancers.

Among them are leading artists and artisans in Vietnam and international delegations from Hokkaido (Japan), Guangxi (China), Laos, Thailand and European dance groups.

In particular, the program includes 3D Mapping performances and Drone light performances (drones arranged in shapes) showing many unique and characteristic images associated with the people and identity of the mining land of Quang Ninh.

In addition to the highlight of the Ha Long Carnival 2024, during the April 30 - May 1 holiday, Quang Ninh province also organizes more than 10 different cultural, artistic, sports and tourism activities lasting from April 20 to May 1 to create a highlight to attract tourists during the peak season of island tourism.

Thereby, strongly spreading the image of Ha Long Bay with the 30-year journey of being recognized by UNESCO as a World Natural Heritage with values ​​of landscape, geology, geomorphology, biology, culture, history... At the same time, affirming the efforts of the locality in protecting, preserving, promoting and conserving the values ​​of the Heritage .
