It is expected that this week, athletes can receive their bonuses ," Director of the Department of Sports and Physical Training Dang Ha Viet told VTC News.

According to the announcement before departure, athletes will receive 400 million VND in bonus for each gold medal at ASIAD 19 from the Department of Physical Training and Sports.

In addition, the State has a reward level according to regulations for athletes who win medals at the Asian Games. Specifically, the reward for each gold medal is 140 million VND, if the athlete breaks the record of the Games, he will be awarded an additional 55 million VND. The reward for a silver medal is 85 million VND and a bronze medal is 55 million VND.

The achievements of the Vietnamese Sports Delegation at the 19th ASIAD include 3 gold medals, 5 silver medals and 19 bronze medals. The gold medals were won in 3 sports: shooting, sepak takraw and karate, in which Pham Quang Huy was the first gold medalist for the Vietnamese Sports Delegation.

In karate, Nguyen Thi Phuong, Luu Thi Thu Uyen, Nguyen Ngoc Tram defeated Malaysia in the women's team kata final. The Vietnamese women's sepak takraw team, including Tran Thi Ngoc Yen, Nguyen Thi Yen, Nguyen Thi Ngoc Huyen, Nguyen Thi My and two reserve players Tran Thi Hong Nhung and Le Thi Tu Trinh, won the gold medal in the women's team of 4.

Now, everyone must comply with financial regulations such as deducting income tax and then signing to receive it ," Mr. Dang Ha Viet added.
