Monitoring data shows that the water level of Cau River and Ca Lo River is decreasing but is still above alert level I and II respectively. Meanwhile, on Nhue River, Day River, Bui River, and Tich River, the water level is changing slowly and is at a high level (Nhue River, Day River above alert level II; Bui River, Tich River above alert level III).

With the active support of the military, police and shock troops, so far, more than 56,000 people have returned from evacuation sites out of a total of 79,000 people evacuated and relocated in areas at risk of being affected by rain and floods.

Statistics show that the remaining number of people who have to be evacuated and relocated is about 23,000, mainly concentrated in the districts of Chuong My, My Duc, Soc Son, Ung Hoa... These are also the areas that are currently still flooded due to high flood waters.

Regarding the damage and impacts caused by storms, floods and natural disasters, the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Control and Search and Rescue of Hanoi City said that 20,283 hectares of rice were broken, collapsed and crushed; 15,803 hectares of rice and 11,764 hectares of vegetables were flooded; 8,892 hectares of fruit trees and 4,270 hectares of aquatic products were affected; 3,446 livestock died; 320,109 poultry died or were lost.

The number of trees broken and fallen according to statistics is about 100,000 trees. The whole city also recorded 32 incidents of dike works, about 150 incidents of irrigation works and other incidents and impacts on flooding, power systems...
