A series of trillion-dollar projects turn Tay Ninh into a new 'promised land'

On August 19, the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province held a groundbreaking ceremony for Phuoc Vinh Tay New Urban Area, Binh Hoa Nam 1 Industrial Park and the Project to build access roads to 3 bridges across the Vam Co Dong, Vam Co Tay and Can Giuoc rivers located on Provincial Road 827E (known as National Highway 50B).

Leverage from mega projects

The first is the Phuoc Vinh Tay New Urban Area project, which is expected to elevate Tay Ninh to a smart city. This project has a "huge" total investment capital of more than 80,000 billion VND and a scale of nearly 1,100 hectares, invested by the Vingroup - Vinhomes - VIG Joint Venture.

Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Ut affirmed that Tay Ninh will create the most favorable conditions for the project to be implemented on schedule. He also requested the investor to focus resources to complete the infrastructure by 2027 and put the entire project into operation by 2030.

This is not only an urban area, but also a strong driving force for Tay Ninh to develop in the direction of high-end services and trade, attracting high-quality human resources and tourists, turning this place into a vibrant growth pole.

The Binh Hoa Nam 1 Industrial Park project (CosmoPark Tay Ninh) in Duc Hue commune, Tay Ninh province is considered a bright spot in green industry. The project has started construction, affirming the locality's bold vision for a modern and sustainable industry. This project is invested by Hoan Cau Long An Company Limited - a member of Hoang Gia Vietnam Investment Group Joint Stock Company - with a scale of more than 322.3 hectares and a total investment of 3,900 billion VND.

The highlight of CosmoPark Tay Ninh is its orientation to develop into an ecological industrial park, "net zero emissions", using clean energy and applying a circular economic model right from the beginning. The project is expected to become a "magnet" attracting high-tech, environmentally friendly industries, and creating jobs for about 25,000 workers in the locality and neighboring areas.

Previously, another important project was just started by the province to invest in infrastructure of Thu Thua Industrial Park with a scale of more than 170 hectares and a total investment of nearly 3,000 billion VND. When put into operation, the project will create jobs for about 20,000 - 25,000 workers.

Traffic connections and strategic position of Tay Ninh

The above projects cannot be separated from the general transport infrastructure picture of the entire Southern Key Economic Zone.

Tay Ninh’s location is becoming more strategic than ever thanks to the increasingly complete inter-regional transport infrastructure system. The province is now closely connected to key economic centers in the South through a diverse and modern road network.

Specifically, in addition to existing national highways such as 1, 50, 62 and N2, Tay Ninh will benefit greatly from key national projects.

To connect industrial - commercial and logistics development for the entire region, Tay Ninh Province has just started the project to build access roads to 3 bridges on Provincial Road (DT) 827E. DT 827E in Tay Ninh province belongs to National Highway 50B, about 55km long, passing through 3 provinces and cities: Ho Chi Minh City, Tay Ninh and Dong Thap.

This route passes through an important area and crosses three major rivers: Can Giuoc, Vam Co Dong and Vam Co Tay. According to the plan, DT 827E will be built with a complete scale of 10 lanes, including 6 main lanes and 4 parallel lanes. In phase 1, the project focuses on building access roads to 3 bridges, with a total length of 10.58km, a scale of 4 lanes... The total investment for this phase is 3,040 billion VND, using the provincial budget.

Expressways such as Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong - My Thuan, Ben Luc - Long Thanh, along with ring roads such as Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 and Ring Road 4, are creating a smooth traffic corridor, helping to significantly shorten travel time.

In particular, the Moc Bai - Ho Chi Minh City expressway project phase 1 with a total investment of nearly 20,000 billion VND worth implementing will be a huge "boost", turning Tay Ninh into an international trade gateway, not only connecting with Ho Chi Minh City but also expanding trade with other regions, consolidating the province's position as an important growth pole in the Southern Key Economic Zone.

A representative of the Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee said that these projects are an important driving force to promote the process of economic restructuring of Tay Ninh, from agriculture to industry - services.
