On the same day, An Giang Provincial Labor Federation organized the handover of "Union Shelter" to 2 union members with difficult circumstances in Kien Luong commune.

Specifically, the “Union Shelter” was handed over to union member Pham Van Tan, who is currently working at the Ba Hon Stevedoring Union, and union member Danh Tre, both residing in Kien Luong commune. Each union member was supported by the Provincial Federation of Labor’s “Union Shelter” Fund with 50 million VND to build a new house, the remaining amount was contributed by the family.

Also in Kien Luong commune, the Provincial Labor Federation visited and worked with Ha Tien Packaging Joint Stock Company to learn about production and business activities, grasp the situation of trade union activities and labor relations of the enterprise.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the An Giang Provincial Federation of Labor Do Tran Thinh emphasized that the Provincial Federation of Labor will strive to direct and guide the company's grassroots trade unions to implement new policies, remove difficulties and obstacles, and work with grassroots trade unions to take care of union members and workers, continue to build stable labor relations, and help union members feel secure in working and producing.
