At the meeting, the members of the Jury reviewed and agreed on the average scores of all judges for the 55 works that made it to the final round. These included 12 print and magazine works; 7 electronic newspaper works; 10 photojournalism works; 10 radio works; and 16 television works.

According to the assessment of the Jury, the quality of the works that entered the final round this year is more consistent across all categories, many long-term works show that press agencies, authors, and groups of authors have invested more, the content reflects current issues, the key directions of the province. In which, focusing on a number of topics such as: party building, digital transformation, new rural construction...
Based on the results, the Final Jury has selected 50 works with scores from high to low to propose A, B, C, and encouragement prizes for the Provincial Press Award Council to submit to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and awarding. It is expected that the third Lang Son Provincial Press Award ceremony in 2023 will be held on the occasion of the 98th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2023).
