Through on-site inspections in many communes and towns in the district, especially in key areas for growing rice and crops, including the communes of Dinh Hoa, Dinh Tien, Dinh Tan, Dinh Hung, Dinh Tang, Dinh Lien, Yen Thinh..., comrade Nguyen Xuan Tung, Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee, directed units to urgently implement solutions to overcome the affected rice and crop areas. For rice plants that have fallen, crushed, broken, or flooded..., propagate, mobilize, and encourage people to go to the fields early to organize rice bundles into clumps, drain the water on the surface of the fields to prevent the rice from being flooded; quickly harvest the area of ripe rice of about 80% or more. For corn that is about to be harvested, specifically inspect, urgently harvest the affected area due to falling, breaking, and contact livestock facilities to purchase for farmers. For other vegetables, drain the water if flooded, and actively take care of the plants to restore them. Regarding irrigation, the district has directed Nam Song Ma Company Limited and agricultural service cooperatives to drain water, especially in flooded areas recovering after production; drainage pumping stations urgently drain water into Cau Chay River and Ma River so that plants are not flooded...
