The Quang Ninh Provincial Journalists Association also presented 2 sets of computers to the District Library, awarded 10 scholarships (worth one million VND each) to students who have overcome difficulties and donated 1,000 pairs of socks to preschool children in the district. The Organizing Committee of the Spring Newspaper Festival also organized Tet gifts for families with meritorious services, disadvantaged households and coordinated with the organization of the Spring Flower Festival and the local Spring Fair at several other locations in Dam Ha District.

Mr. Do Ngoc Ha, Permanent Vice President of the Quang Ninh Provincial Journalists Association, said: The 2024 Spring Book and Newspaper Festival is an activity to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam, celebrate the glorious Party, and celebrate the Spring of Giap Thin 2024; at the same time, create more places for sightseeing, entertainment, and spring travel; promote books and newspapers; contribute to honoring the reading culture, improving the spiritual life of the people.

It is known that Quang Ninh will organize the Spring Book and Newspaper Exhibition at 15 locations this year (including 13 districts, towns and cities of Quang Ninh province and 2 other locations). There are about 100 Central press publications and Spring newspapers of 62 provinces and cities nationwide; Spring newspapers and typical press publications of the Provincial Media Center and Quang Ninh Journalists Association. Along with Spring newspapers, there are hundreds of books on the topics of the Party, Uncle Ho, Quang Ninh homeland, Tet customs... arranged artistically.
