Tay Son district meets new rural standards

* Tay Son district has 14/14 communes recognized as meeting new rural standards; 02/14 communes recognized as meeting advanced new rural standards; 01 town has been reviewed and evaluated for criteria of wards and towns meeting civilized urban standards according to regulations, reaching 100%.

Along with that, Tay Son district has basically achieved the criteria in the National Criteria for New Rural Districts. Essential technical infrastructure works and essential social infrastructure are invested in construction in accordance with the approved construction planning of the district. The district's irrigation system meets the requirements for agricultural production in the area. The entire inter-commune electricity system is managed by the electricity sector, ensuring technical parameters and electrical safety according to the Electricity Criteria.

Currently, the district has 12 industrial clusters, with a total area of 472.31 hectares according to the approved planning to serve local economic development. The district has formed a concentrated raw material area for key products according to the Tay Son District Agricultural Production Development Project for the period 2021 - 2025 and orientation to 2030; in which, in the field of cultivation, peanuts have been identified as one of the key products, with high and stable economic value compared to other crops, contributing to increasing income for farmers in rural areas.
